WHEN SHOULD I BEGIN LOOKING FOR MY DRESS?

We always recommend that brides begin looking for their dress at least 12 months before the big day.
Dresses can take between four to eight months to arrive in store, but we also need to allow time for any alterations.
We offer dress storage with a one of fee of £20 if you are lucky enough to find your dress sooner!
We can cater for quicker engagement, so please do get in touch to discuss options.

THIS IS MY FIRST APPOINTMENT, WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

If this is your first bridal appointment, we advise trying on a little bit of everything to get a feel for the different styles.
Most brides will find their dress on their first appointment, but don't worry if you need to come back for a second appointment... or even visit both stores for more options.

HOW LONG DOES MY APPOINTMENT LAST?

An appointment typically lasts up to two hours.
Trying on a wedding dress is a very different experience from trying on items in a normal clothes store.
We want all our brides to feel comfortable during their appointment. Please be assured that we are patient and you can take your appointment at a speed which you feel comfortable.

WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR OR BRING WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT?

If possible, we recommend you wear skin coloured underwear and a strapless bra, but do not worry if you cannot.
We have suitable shoes in store to try on with the dresses, but please feel free to bring your own.

WHO CAN/SHOULD COME WITH ME TO MY APPOINTMENT?

There are no limits on the number of people that you can bring with you.

Please do inform us if you have more than 6 guests, we want to make sure everyone is comfortable with a seat.

We offer complimentary tea and coffee and cold drinks for you and your guests.

WHICH SIZE WEDDING DRESS DO I BUY?

Wedding dress sizes are very different to high street sizes.
During the appointment, we have fully trained members of staff who will measure you and advise on sizing, in accordance to the designer's size charts.

DO YOU STOCK PLUS SIZED WEDDING DRESSES?

We offer up to a size 32 sample to try on in store, whilst we can order dresses up to a size 48 from some of our designers. Our fully trained staff members will advise you on the best styles.

I'M GETTING MARRIED SOON, WILL MY DRESS ARRIVE IN TIME?

Some of our dresses are available on a rush order, which means they could be delivered as quickly as eight weeks. Please do get in touch to discuss options.
This service is available but may have a nominal fee.

DO YOU OFFER AN ALTERATION SERVICE?

We work closely with a few local seamstresses who know our dresses inside and out. They come highly recommended but please feel free to use your own. We can discuss the options more in store.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY BODY SIZE CHANGES AFTER ORDERING MY DRESS?

No dress will fit perfectly upon delivery. We always leave enough time before the wedding date to alter the dress.
Dresses can be altered in various ways to accomodate changes in body shape.
